Those are new IPs. Not a sequel to a Playstation-centric franchise. This is not the same kind of deal at all.

A game dela is a game deal, and being multiplat didn't stop Square from calling the game unsuccesful. By partnering they eliminated a lot of risk and cost, and can potentially make more money long term.

I doubt it. Here is a list of mostly early gen timed exclusives for the 360 that later came to playstation. I will play this on 360 no matter what.
