I'm suspecting that the reviews would be better if it was bullets instead of paint.

No.  He actually said that.

Funny. Now that quote is hunting them 20 years later. Half finished games should never be encouraged.

Except when it doesn't actually change anything. The game is going to be "finished" in August regardless of delay or not, so this only gives us the option (because you do not have to buy games day one) to play the game sooner, which works fine here because the core gameplay is already 100% done.

So far I'm only adding reviews to the OP that are submitted on MC, but I may change that later. Do you know if any of these reviewers are typically accounted for on MC?

All these 10/10 are not, unfortunately

So many excuses. I am really surprised after hearing so many excuses. What about people who are getting day one? They are not important? Review is alreay showing lack of content meaning.

Here you have the long awaited 60/100 review:

Toronto Sun:

The lack of a chat feature just ends up making Splatoon a game that rewards smart teamwork but doesn’t give players tools to communicate.

Spamming "Booyah!" is infact a form of communication bruh.

People getting it day 1 knew exctly what they were going to have, Nintendo was pretty clear about it.

Now, the thing is, they should not give a score for something that is not already avalible, but should they fully ignore the fact that the game is going to grow for free every week through the summer and at the end will be bigger than we ever thought?

It doesnt feel right to fully ignore that on the scores, there should be a balance imo.

If the rest of the content was 30$ Dlc they would give it the same score, even if the content was announced for the next year, and not every week for the next few months.

I don't understand ign s review in progress thing, they've played this game for a long time, completed it a while ago yet they are just now writing their review?

so splatoons 81 seem to be very safe.

So followed by metacritic this game is inferior to Olliolli.

Just realised how much of a joke this reviews are^^

Does anybody know if the maps and modes that will arrive later are already on the disc?

The probably aren't given the small file size, but there's no way Camp Triggerfish isn't already done.
