Calling it now, it's either going to be exactly the same and ire will definitely be had and deserved or GTA V PC style marketing and boast of features that either get patched into current gen later on or aren't enough to make the differences worlds apart.

Either way I'm no longer day 1 on this, most likely waiting till sale time, but hey I can't wait to get flak for having expectations and not adhering to other's expectations that are lower to suit their own likes/dislikes.

guess devs are practically saying to high end pc users one more time:

just because you built a "supercomputer" that doesn't entitle you to get "supersoftware" as well. if you want high end entertainment for your titans, go ask nvidia. we're focusing on the average gaming hardware in people's homes nothing more.

Two major differences that were spotted with my casual eyes. Grass density and the movement of the horse's hair. If you already have a new gen console, IMO it's not worth building a PC for this game unless you really care about 60fps.

Oh well, least we will still have mods to fix this

And? I was making a claim involving more than the video in the OP. There is barely a difference between the various predets of the Witcher 3 on PC so obviously there will also be very little difference between any preset and PS4 at 1080p.

Doesn't make a single difference the video was showing the game running Wither 3 on ultra and the PS4 was almost matching that. Maybe just maybe this is how the PC version should look on Ultra and it hasn't been downgraded in any way shape or form and the PS4 is able to match that.

By the way, with mods the PC will look much better as time passes.
