For me, there isn't much Vita games I want to get in any retail store (as in what is available). I usually go to Amazon to get a physical copy of a Vita game I want.

Though 2 of those "Amazing" Wii U games are also on Vita, just the reviews weren't as kind. MetaCritic sadly isn't too scientific in that regard, though I won't deny Wii U has more "amazing" games as I agree entirely. However when judging the full lineup, I believe the Vita has enough decent games to compete. Interestingly , even just taking it as retail only.
You often find the same games (even 360 vs PS3) were getting very different scores despite being identical. Just depends what mood the reviewers who picked a specific format were in I guess haha.

Wiiu cause it has better exclusive games than the vita which cant be played on any other system. I buy a system so i can have games that are exclusive to it... Not so I can play a downgraded version of games on another platform which I already own. Granted the vita has some exclusive games as well but they aren't as good as the wiiu

Velocity 2X has 86% on metacritic on the PS4. You're saying the Vita version is better? Or do Vita games barely get reviews?
As for Rayman Legends, that was built for the ground up with the Wii U in mind.
If we are comparing just Vita to Wii U as to who has the better games Vita completely and utterly destroys the the Wii U.
At retail these are the Vita games that could be considered good or great(Bolded are my personal favorites):

By this argument, would you not prefer Nintendo had just stopped making 3DS games and put them on the Wii U instead? They'd all be better on that.
I bought a handheld to play games on the go. PS3 isn't very useful on the bus or train. See my previous post. Games frequently get varying scores from platform to platform even when the game itself is identical. In Velocity 2X's case, it was always a portable franchise that has now been brought to home consoles too.
There are more PS4 reviews because there is a bigger audience for PS4 game reviews. It also often depends what version the publisher decides to hand out that can dictate which version is reviewed more. But you're ranting about 86% versus 90%? That in a meta is an averaging. Many sites use out of 10 systems. They both round to an average of 9/10.
Also having fewer reviews is generally the case for Vita releases. This means that the negative ones have an even bigger impact on the overall meta (if the game qualifies for a meta in the first place).

I wonder if people would hark on about exclusives as much if their system received anything other than those. A game not being exclusive doesn't make it any less of a game.

Yes, but that wouldn't be a smart business move. But the 3DS at least has plenty of games built from the ground up with the 3DS in mind. It's not a HH for Wii ports...
A 4% difference for the same game is big on metacritic. And look at those userscores, the people playing these games obviously don't like them as much.
