A better question would have been "will any PS4 exclusive sell over 15 million?"

Gran Turismo 7 should do that easily.

The best selling Gran Turismo sold a bit less than 15 Million. So, no, it won't do it easily. In fact it's quite unlikely that it does it. If you think 15 is too low then it should have been 20 at least. Even though 20 is also very unlikely it's almost not worth asking.

No, it won't happen.

I wouldn't say easily, it'll be pretty challenging for it to get 10mil imo.

GT5 managed over 10m on PS3, and PS4 will likely end up with a significatly higher install base.

EDIT: It seems I overestimated GT3, for some reason I remembered it being at 17-18m. My mistake.

I still think GT7 has a shot though.

Yes, Playroom (if you count bundled games like many of the best-selling Wii games).

I think only the most enthusiastic/optimistic Playstation fans think that.

I don't even like Playstation but I think it'll settle somewhere around 120m.

Its a simple question. Will a PS4 game ever sell more than MKWii? The game was still sold whether it was bundled or not... Nintendo didnt stand on a street corner giving the game out to people...

lol wow it's like i'm going in circles, Sony won't bundle 1 game for years and years, it's a ridculous question. It's not hard for ANY company, whether its Sony or Microsoft too give out free games. End.

you have poor logic- you even argued about Wii Fit, which was bundled with a BOARD. you understand that the board mainly only existed BECAUSE of Wii Fit right? you also understand that when buying the board it was at a higher price point, right?

apparently it is hard for some companies to include 1 game in a console bundle that will necessarily push their systems- Mario Kart does that much better than any other examples

even if you take away the Mario Kart bundles, Mario Kart Wii probably holds the record still. also you mentioned some asinine argument that the Mario Kart Wii wheel/game bundle didn't count- what? why wouldn't it? it would be like me buying a bundle pack of games in a series, just because I buy something else with it doesn't mean it magically doesn't count

you obviously have some weird bitterness about the popularity of the Mario Kart franchise. I will note that Mario Kart has always done well historically for Nintendo, even for systems that did not have strong bundle deals or really bundles at all (I don't recall the N64 or SNES having specific bundles that sold in that huge quantities, but rather the game individually). similarly Mario Kart for the Gameboy and other Nintendo handhelds always sells fantastically as just software only

Maybe, I think it'll sell less than 100 million. I found this thread btw http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=171626&page=1 . It's asking if any PS4 exclusive is gonna sell more than 10 million and the only answers basically were GT7 and GT8 :p.

unlikely that it will pass 100m. consoles are not going to continue having as long 'legs' as they did in the past. especially if Nintendo truly does release their next console within a few years, there is no way that its competitors will sit around for a particularly long time. when specs are the #1 selling point of your system (Microsoft or Sony) and you're constantly falling further and further behind PC its not going to leave room for particularly long system life cycles

I will note that the PS2 had a long life cycle due to the DVD player, and the PS3 arguably had a pretty long one due to the somewhat innovative Blu Ray player. you reach a point where systems no longer really have that added incentive to be used for extended years

I doubt the Ps4 will reach the Wii's lifetime sales especially with the NX coming out probably in Christmas 2016.
