Why that? its great to play games on the device they were made for

It's better in every concievable way to play them all digitally in one modern device.  There is literally nothing worth owning old hardware for other then novelty, which quickly wears off.

But its not running on original hardware but its emulated, emulation has tons of vows and glitches. Same ways with the controlls, there are a lot of instances where the original controller is better and it feels better anyways. You cant emulate lightguns, pocketstations and other stuff made for that time.

I've used the VC for years. Never experienced a single glitch. The games run better in many cases than the originals. The controllers feel way better on modern consols. There not even a comparison there. In the .01% of games that actually matter that use lightguns and are on VC, the Wii Remote works fine. Even better now with Duck Hunt since there's an aiming reticule now. Emulation is vastly superior.

First Sega move away from console development, then Capcom start focusing more on mobile now Konami want to exit gaming?

People really think the industry is in good shape?

I think gaming has an inevitable rebirth apporaching, more so than death, and aspiring game developers (indies) will lead the way, or force big companies, such as you mentioned to downsize and actually take a step backwards in size, projected earnings, etc.

but IDK, Time will tell

FYI if you plan to get MGS 3DS do it sooner rather than later (if you want a new copy). I recently
bought it and it was pretty difficult to find. Well worth it though! It's amazing what they managed to squeeze out
of the 3DS hardware, and the cart is a whopping 4GB in size, making it the biggest game ever on a cart. I have the original 3DS so a circle pad pro is a must, but if you have a new 3DS with a 2nd analog stick you're set.

I'm all digital, so "finding it" won't be an issue. It's only $20 on the eshop too. Pretty fair. I already have a CPP as well, so all that's left is getting the game.

Sounds good you'll be happy you did... How much room do you have left on your 3DS memory card? It's well over 1000 blocks I think...

I have a 32GB card lol so I'm not even close to filling it up.

It's easy money without having to develop or port a new game, I don't see any reasons for them to remove games or stop supporting the VC. Specially, since Konami has been the Virtual Console's biggest supporter, only behind Nintendo themselves. Hopefully they won't stop supporting it, because besides Capcom, and the occasional Natsume/Namco Bandai game... There'll be no games on the VC.
