Nintendo you continue to dissapoint, was expecting to see new weapon and Splatfest announcements this morning, but still nothing. Well I'm sure the weapon is just gonna be the Neo Sploosh so no big deal there, but I really wanna see if they go with a Halloween related Splatfest theme.

Eitherway, buckets are awesome! Been noticing them a lot more lately, I mean obviously cause there's two now, but even the regular Slosher standalone is more frequent. Guess people finally realized they're actually very good. I kinda miss being the only bucket boy though! (Even though I still am most of the time lel)

Sooo... I tried some buffed weapons, but that wasn't really successful.

Back to .96 Gal Deco for ranked...

I used 2 mains and 3 subs for ink saving/recovery before the patch, but that's not enough anymore because of the Splash Wall nerf. 3 mains and 3 subs now and you should only throw a Splash Wall when your ink is completely filled.

A resulting problem is that I can't use as many defense ups anymore (had 1 main and 3 subs). I always felt that 1 main didn't make a difference, but the Splattershots got nerfed. One defense main is now enough against a Splattershot without damage ups. Let's see if one main will make a difference now or not.

The strategic use of Splash Walls is pretty much gone because of the lowered HP, but you can still use it to survive encounters. Splat Zones will change a lot I guess.

200 points for Kraken is noticeable because the .96 coverage is among the worst.
I didn't die because of the added 750ms delay yet, but following enemies until the special is over was always stupid. It will happen that I'll have to superjump back to the base before the Kraken ends... More defensive use than offensive use in general.

I was just on fire this session, getting kills in the double digits and deaths in the single digits almost every game, with my best score being a whopping 21-3! Even with allys taking the Rainmaker the wrong way and getting teamed up with people as low as B+ (Yep, and everyone else was S or higher) with how well I was playing, this result was only a matter of time! <(^_^<)

EDIT: Btw next Splatfest for NA is Pirates vs. Ninjas! I'm obviously going with the former, which is especially great since I'll be supporting the better Squid Sister and using the better color, well imo anyway. Not exactly Halloween themed (although those are common costumes), but still a great topic!

Pirates vs ninjas? Meh it´s a decent theme, like I do every splatfest I´ll go team marie

Edit: now that I think about it, this splatfest can also be looked as one piece (pirates) vs naruto (ninjas), in that case not only is this splatfest the best by far, but I will have to switch to team callie because naruto sucks, however callie sucks, but she is in team pirates and one piece is the GOAT. Oh well I love one piece more than marie so I´ll go team pirates despite hating callie
