Nope, sorry, the demo didn't change a thing in terms of whether I buy this game.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I'm not sure if this counts, but my Splatoon Review thread has reached 100+ replies. And it's a Nintendo thread.

It was my first testfire, the game was really fun. I took some time to get used to the controls, but after i got it, i was always the 1st or 2nd on my team. I didnt have time to try the rifle and still need to learn how to defeat the rollers. I used the no motion controls option, but had the feeling that motion controls are the better option, i never got used to use sticks to aim.
About the connection, i had no lag, never waited more than 20 seconds to start a new match and played 7 matches.

So... I was making up items for my hopefully soon Mario elim game and I must say.... over 60 guys, crazy OP items. and the addition of Mario Powers as well. This is shaping up to be quite the ultimate elim game.

The level of challenge depends first and foremost on your party setup and your puzzle skills (plus the obvious luck factor in regards to the orbs that drop into the grid to fill it up again). I've only played the first two worlds of the SMB Edition (so 15-20 levels), but I found it harder than Z. The main reasons being that, for one, characters can have dual-elements unlike in Z, so the party setup allows for greater freedom and in turn creates a bigger swing in regards to how easy or hard a dungeon can be, and two, the skill system is tied to a certain number of turns passing instead of a skill point pool like in Z that fills up by performing combos. In SMB you have to wait for ten turns to use a monster's skill (number of turns can be reduced by upgrading) and another ten to use the same monster's skill again, but in Z all of your monsters can draw from the pool (initially you can store up to five points, the beginner's skills need only one or two points) and you are allowed to use the same monster's skill twice or more often in the same turn.

So if you get hit hard and need some serious healing, you are often screwed in SMB while in Z you can usually overcome such hurdles. I died several times in the two worlds of SMB I played, but I didn't die once in the three and a half worlds I played in Z. But even that aside, I found that the enemies in SMB hit a lot harder than in Z. Three to five hits can get you killed instead of eight to ten.

Good to hear there is a good challenge in the game (for the Super Mario Edition at least). I just found out there's a demo for it, so I'm going to try that out and make my choice based on that.

Also if you have ideas for items I can use in this game shoot them at me in a message or on my wall. I want to make this game as big as possible.

But you only played the second hour, right? I mean, if you actually played for 2 hours, you would have to tell us all your secrets (but you wouldn't have played just 7 games in 2 hours, so nah).

Yes, my 7 sessions were at the second hour, i was not able to play 1 match on the 1st hour. And i almost lost the 2nd hour because when i  heard about it, i had little more than 40 minutes remaining.
