90% of DQ's sales are in Japan, 3DS is likely to beat out both the other versions combined tbh, DQ tends to make it to the west now days because Nintendo pushes SE for a western release so both Switch and 3DS will likely make it over anyway.

Just learned that the Fire Emblem Gaiden remake has vastly different gameplay from Fates, a major change being the removal of the weapon triangle which I don't like at all. I'm still looking forward to it, but now I'm more cautiously optimistic. This is Intelligent Systems afterall, they could always pull another Sticker Star, and removing a staple feature for no benefit is a step in that direction.

For those who don't know. If you got the retail version of a game, you have to manually claim the mynintendo rewards. You can do that from the home menu. Select your game, press + or - and choose "My Nintendo Rewards Programme" and finally "Earn Points (retail version only)".

I'm not exactly the biggest Fire Emblem fan ever, but was this feature present in the original game? If it wasn't, it's totally understandable for it to be "removed" since this is a remake after all.

If it were a 1to1 100% exact remake then... actually nah, that's not a very good reason to leave in flaws and leave out modern features. In this case though they already are changing things and adding new features. Dungeon crawling, casual mode, rewinding turns, CGI cutscenes, new characters/weapons/items, etc., so I don't see why the weapon triangle couldn't be among them.
