The ghosting on the PS4 version is because of some temporal AA trick they use. They are going to patch the game with a toggle ON/OFF option to remove the ghosting.

Yup this, thus not a limitness on PS4 hardware it's just a technical mistakes from the developer

overal, they should just stick to 30 FPS and high quality detail i think like driveclub, or made with medium setting but with 60FPS. Consoles are not PC, and they shouldn't bother included graphic setting on consoles ,  and it seems  they also forget to put resolution setting as well.

I expected better from you Jay, no need for these types of threads. Xo is the inferior version, will always get the inferior version of multiplats, these type of threads serve no purpose anymore but just shit on one console for the sake of shitting on said console. Smh.

Not really. In some cases the games ran better on Xbox One.

TXAA.... thank you nvidia.

Its one of those AA types that almost never good... Ive heard of so many games where its bad in, I wonder why developers use it.

Same with FXAA.... really wish developers would use SMAA its so much better.

Explain what inferiour means? Because theres more to a game then just its visuals, like controllers and  Rumble Triggers or a more stable online service? In this case theres barely any difference between the 2 versions so i would be buying the game that offers the better all round experince.

I think Versus was referring to games on a technical level (resolution, frame-rate, shading, etc), not subjective elements like controllers. On a technical level, the X1 versions have and likely will continue to frequently be 'inferior', at least on a general scale.

I can't tell the difference. The cars look equally good. Everything else looks equally bad. There was some effect on the PS4 side that reminded me of screen tearing but it was brief.

Found a MUCH better video to compare the differnces on:

^ in this video im pretty sure they followed all the rules with recording things correctly.

Its much easier to get a idea of what things really look like between pc & ps4 / xbox1.

I dislike PC comparisons. They are dishonest. Its PS4 vs X1 vs Top end PC. PC is a dynamic platform aswell, it improves over time as you get new parts, involves alot more investment and dedication from the player. Its not a comparison because the platforms are not under the same conditions.

With that said... this comparison tells me what i already knew. Why are we debating resolutions when FPS is by far more noticeable and more significant to the gameplay? I will take that lower res with the increased FPS, thank you very much.

I love these real time comparisons. They're practically identical to anyone actually playing it. Unless someone can point out where it dips to 55fps without the chart at the bottom?

Kind of shows how silly comparisons are, although resolution is highly important for me as I play on a 23 inch monitor that's not even a meter from my face so I guess I'm in the minority with that.

Frame-rate differences tend to be more noticeable from feel (actually playing) than watching. I don't personally put much value in a 5 - 10 frame-rate difference in this context, but i don't doubt there are some to whom it's significant.

These sorts of comparisons are pretty silly for IQ differences though. Aliasing variations are still apparent, but compression + identical YT bit-rates = substantially smaller blur difference (even to someone like me who places a fair bit of value in a pixel perfect resolutions when actually playing games).

Both versions look good... you guys are lucky as some of us are still waiting for the Wii U port.

Feel free to check out my stream on twitch

yeah PC version looks better but then we go to the description of the video to see what they used.....

Intel Core i7-5820K 6x 3.3 GHz
16GB DDR4 Crucial Dual Channel 2133MHz (2x 8GB)
2x 4096 MB NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970
500GB SATA III Samsung 840 EVO SSD
2TB SATA III Western Digital Red WD20EFRX

Just ONE GTX 970 alone costs as much as a PS4/X1.

Just not worth it. consoles will always have better price/performance.

thats *only*

390$ CPU

140$ Ram

660$ GPU

260$ SSD

----------------------------

= 1450$

of pc without even factoring in, case/cooling/motherboard/monitor/mouse&keyboard&controller/Dvd drive/ect

All that just to show up a Consol.
