i want the soundtrack---
"If you are interested on Splatoon you might want to listen this opinion about a guy that is always bitching and crying about everything Nintendo does because he wants to be a cool dudebro but Nintendo is not what cool dudebros want"
Or maybe you could watch the Nintendo Direct about it.
Is like some people are desperate to make this game fail. But is not goint to ;D

Well, I don't know him, so I was mainly talking about the video, I don't consider myself a Nintendo fan and still some parts of this video made me cringe. He said some good things about the game, threw some valid complains, and then started talking about the ammount of money Nintendo has in the bank or how Nintendo fans shouldn't complain anymore about getting crippled third party ports if they buy this game, things that have nothing to do with Splatoon but he decided to use to justify his weird stance: "I'd tons of fun with the demo, but I won't buy the game because Nintendo doesn't deserve my money, if Sony or Microsoft were the ones that made it the game could be much better, so I'll buy it used instead." Ok.
It is in my MAYBE list, I play mostly in single player so I want more info on that mode before making a purchase, online looks fun but it is something extra for me, not the main reason to buy a game.

haha I see your also a Canadian.... hard to justify the $70 price tag.
At least the game as evolve enough now that it's no longer a glorify demo. But I think this game should sell for 40.

Canadians should wait until August, I think the price would be very justified then :P
Meanwhile, the comunity will grow strong in cheaper countries, that´s good, tons of people to play against and all the stuff unlocked by that month.
The match making is one of the worst I've seen, could only get to play a few rounds. To make it worse, it searches for partners for a minute then gives out an error, so I have to constantly press buttons every minute when it again fails to connect, preventing me from multitasking and doing other things while I wait. I have great internet, around ~7MB/sec, when I play there is no lag, so it's not on my end.
To make things even worse, the rounds are over so quickly, I think they're like 2 or 3 minutes long?
So not day 1 for me. I love the game but with connecting taking so long it's a deal breaker.

Yesterday you had hundreds of comment on your thread of people telling you that they didn´t have any problem with the matchmaking and they get to play around 10 matches in one hour, and you are still insisting in this being a problem of the game instead of only your problem. Even your thread was locked for that, and you are still saying the same, it´s mind-blowing.
You can see several videos on youtube of people streaming the demo with 0 problems for the entire hour, and playing around 10 matches, like everybody is telling to you.

I think it's worth noting that the Testfire is exactly what it sounds like. A test. Its purpose was to be an experiment for the servers. It's very likely it'll be more stable at launch as a result (even then, I've seen very little issue with it for other people).
