The news comes via Twitter, where the company posted an image along with the tease: "Step back into the 80's with our new MGS collection coming very soon! Stay tuned!"
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about an official Metal Gear clothing line. Back in September of 2014, Hideo Kojima tweeted a picture which read: "Metal Gear Collection 2014." Then, at the end of last year's The Phantom Pain demonstration at Tokyo Game Show, Konami revealed the collection before ushering in a series of models kitted out in Metal Gear clothing.

At the time, we were informed the line would extend to clothing, as well as shoes and accessories for both men and women.
Earlier today, Konami confirmed to IGN that The 1984 Collection is indeed a clothing line and not a video game collection of some kind. The company will share more details about this new clothing line soon.
