hm.. the footage shows a bit of a problem with the walking animations, could indicate a fake, but then again it's also entirely possible that it's just from an early development phase

Also, if it is real, I hope they are making a game as long as the original MediEvil, would be disappointed if it ends up a 20 euros 7-8 hours long game.

so my only exposure to sir daniel was in PSASBR. what can you guys tell me about the franchise? aka what kind of gameplay can we expect?

It's not a fps and not a indie game, so i doubt it would be a 7/8 hours game if it's real.

It is an action adventure game from PSOne, it takes place in a dark fantasy but ironic medieval setting, with Sir Daniel Fortesque as the main character, a clumsy skeleton warrior brought back to life after 100 years from his death. It was a very good game at the time, great graphics, epic music and setting. There's a MediEvil 2 too, with a Victorian London setting, but I prefer the first one!

I hope so. I would be happy even if they only upgrade graphics and controls and leave the rest as it was 16 years ago!
