It was fun! I was experimenting with gyro controls and they worked surprisingly well. I was able to aim faster, so I'll try to master them. And I've tried all the weapons, and I support the general opinion, Splattershot Jr. works great.

guys does splatoon has 2 v 2 local multiplayer?

thanks. wanted to play with my daughter and maybe my wife will join that is why i've asked. 1v1 with balloons as the goal isn't that bad against my daughter. 

still thinking if I'll buy this in amazon as pre-order. 

I've was playing around with all the weapons but the Splattershot Jr. is still my favorite. The set up seemed as if it had something for almost any situation.

Now I'm really curious to see how this game sells. It's launching on Nintendo's worst selling home console of all time, it's a genre Nintendo hardly has any first party (or even third party) software in, it's a new ip, and internet hype is not an indication of the general market. I'll buy the game eventually sha, I just can't afford it at the moment.
