Include free beer and hookers.
"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

voice, better servers, online store with demos, video rentals, weather updates and news updates incorporated in real games, downloadable content

Allow players to add people from a random game to a list separate of the friend list so they can play them later if they both consent. That would fall within Nintendo's philosophy imo, and would be a welcome addition.
NO FCs.....Voice chat...better servers....More in games (we barely get any online games...)
Buyout Xbox live.
On a more serious note, a better way of adding people. Friend codes, I understand, but perhaps something more like an approve friend thing, kind of like what Myspace is going with (Know its a bad comparison, but unlike on Myspace, parents have at least a little control over the Wii).
The big killer of the online system for the Wii is the lack of games that utilize it. I can't name 5 games off the top of my head that I know for sure are online and are already out. Nintendo needs to start including it in more games (IMO, Metroid could have sold hundreds of thousands more with an online multiplayer.)
Another big problem is communication. Mics for Mario Kart por favor? ;D

yeah, I agree they should copy xbox.
Not really a duck, but still a bird
