Forums - Gaming - Destiny Hits 20 Million Players

That is my estimate @banana.

12-13m sold units WW across the 4 platforms.

BTW used games sold by 25 when the new game costs 30... the used one is too expensive... and you need to buy the expansions yet in both cases.

yeah they are probably ranking n the money from the DLC packs, but they are being hush about sales numbers and using users instead. which is kind of annoying. they havent announced it being a 1 billion franchise yet, i wonder if the first Destiny can manage to pull it off by itself.

This is one game I wish I still had available on my PC. There's nothing like it on PC. I enjoyed the boss fights, set pieces and all of that. I wanted to come back after a few expansions had been released oh well it's not that big a deal but still missed.

To post the real announce :P

"Activision Publishing’s Destiny and Blizzard Entertainment’s Hearthstone®: Heroes of Warcraft™combined now have more than 50 million registered players and nearly $1 billion in non GAAP revenues1 life‐to‐date."

Hearthstone was announced few days ago to reach 30 million registered players... so Destiny accounts for 20 million.

Both combined reached $1 billion revenue.
