Yeah you've pretty much nailed it. Although I'd be looking into the PS4 version, I think actually that Wii U might even do better than Xbone. The Nintendo fanbase should be very welcoming of 2D Metroidvania type games. I mean Castlevania was born on Nintendo systems. It's just unfortunate the Wii U is harder to port to. Plus I hear the Unreal Engine 4 does not natively support the Wii U. So yes for a small team porting this game might prove a challenge considering they need to finish it first, which in itself is tough.

you could do "online coop" via share play with PS4 anyway, provided you have PS+ and good upload speed

Yeah unfortunately I live in a suburbian area where the internet speed isn't too great, so I can't get share play to run. It's really sad because if I could, me and my friends have an enormous games library to play. It also helps we buy a wide variety of games due to different tastes.

ah ok, that's a bit sad, hopefully there are some improvements to the internet in your area soon

Looks like they weren't expecting the hype train to be this fast considering they haven't updated breaking 1M and 1.25M.
Just pledged, hope this gets 4M+ by the end so they can make it as good as possible.

Most titles he's developed within the past 10 years have been garbage. Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Dracula X Chronicles were good, yet there's garbage like Order of Ecclesia, Curse of Darkness, Nano Breaker, Order of Shadows, Harmony of Despair, and Judgement. He's been the director of just as many bad games as good, and it wasn't like a mixture of good and bad. Once the garbage games started rolling out they kept coming with one or two in between the long lineup of trash. Why do you think we haven't seen anything from him from so long before his departure from Konami. Castlevania fans should be grateful Mercury Steam pitched the cancelled Lords of Shadow as a reboot to the series. Mercury Steam actually brought us some good games.

Everyone should await this announcement with extreme skepticism.

these games were limited because they were on handhelds, have you ever played Symphony of the Night? no?

Over 1.5M, new goal achieved.
Now the next is 1.75 but says it need the second achievement, the thing is, it's probably already well over the second achievement, they still haven't updated it at all, just the backers number one is about to be completed in all toer (probably, if it keeps a 5K pattern), and they still show as if it hasn't even reached tier 1.

They really need to put someone to keep an eye at the project and their achievements so it can be updated properly.

It seems like their expectations were totally shattered, achievements need to be updated soon though, I want to see the 1.75M goal!
