- It is rather suspicious for Sony to be completely OK with letting their huge Holiday game slip into the next year. I think this is because Sony believes this scheduling works better into their favor. Sure, Naughty Gods probably needed the extra time, but this probably made it more ok. With the strong possibility of Uncharted Collection coming to replace U4 this holiday, Sony felt it was a fair trade.
- IMDB has Uncharted 4 movie slated for June 2016, while Uncharted 4 is due to release sometime Spring/Summer 2016. The movie date most likely derives from the 2014 Comic Con panel that stated as much. IMDB might not be completely accurate but it is further implied by ....
- Sony Pictures leaked email correspondance on how to handly Uncharted Movie that apparantly has been going back for years. If I'm not mistaken early prelim work has started a while ago. We all know about Mark Walberg being originally pinned for the role but after the switched to a director who actually plays Uncharted games, that is no longer the case. Haven't heard too much on it since but I feel a reveal coming soon from Sony, most likely with a no-name actor as Drake(which I like).
- Fears of Uncharted not selling as well by not being in Holiday lineup anymore was squashed by the performances of The Last of Us and Remastered. They sold plenty and they gave time to sell on during the usual summer draught, then revived again during holiday during console buying craze. U4 will most likely build off of TLOU momentum and by putting it out with a movie, it has the potential to reach much higher hights(if the movie is good that is).
