I guess some people are not happy for a game to sell no matter what.
GWG or not, AG gets paid for every and each of those 1.3 million downloads.
Good for them and hopefully they find success on PC as well.

are you sure about that?   on the ps+ side they offer a lump sum of money to allow the game to be on ps+ regardless of the number of downloads.

And then you divide that money for the amount of downloads it got.

That money probably set them up for profit.

i feel like you don't understand what "lump sum" means..

"a single payment made at a particular time, as opposed to a number of smaller payments or installments."

Do you have a different definition of what I thought I knew?

That sounds pretty low. :(

Most JRPGs, which are bigger than Visual Novels in Japan, yearn for such numbers.

It came out with no announcement or advertisement. Hopefully those 1 million players will notice the next installment and spread the word of mouth.

I remember the dev almost crying on Twitter to gamers buy the game because the terrible sales... way less than 100k.

Then GoG happened.

That's pretty good. It's definitely more than I was expecting.

good numbers

Good numbers for a niche game, hopefully it will sell more on PC and produce a sequel for both platforms.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
