Not overly realistic without the constant heavy artillery fire and machine gun fire(most kills by far in WW1 where due to artillery, followed by heavy machine guns; infantry weapons like rifles came dead last), but that's probably necessary to make WW1 work as a shooter
People seriously need to stop treating this like an authentic WW1 themed experience. This is not authentic or realistic in the slightest. You want authenticity? Watch a documentary about the war. There's a good reason why pretty any war prior to WW2 has never really been used in any genre besides RTS lol
