Looks like they're trying a bit TOO hard to copy their Banjo-Kazooie glory days.

Fire up the app store, scroll through the games, it's not hard to miss them.

It doesn't really stand out like Banjo imo. Maybe they need some clothes, or  shoes I dunno.

I really wanted a lizard or crocodile and a bat! I'm happy they went this route; makes it 'different' from Banjo-Kazooie but also clearly 'equal'.

So... Spyro the Bat and Square Gecko it is...

I'd disagree with Spryo the Bat... purely because I designed a 3D model piece of fan-art ages ago that actually used Spyro and a Keese as the basis for a 'bat' themed replacement for Kazooie. Compared to my designs this actually takes the Spyro out of my 'Spyro-Keese'.

Not gonna argue with Square Gecko since... lizards and lizards are lizards, regardless of which I personally think looks cooler. Though I do think there is a classic Sonic influence.

catchy name, which is good.

I like the idea of a 2 animals and a Chameleon + Bat = oppertunities for fun gameplay abilities.
(invisibility and flight).

Hopefully it ends up being good.

I love the character combo they're going on. 

The bird/bear combo for Banjo-Kazooie was awesome, but I'd really hoped they'd go for a croc and bat combo (did a number of 3D models based on that concept) because of how awesomely draconic it would be, but I have to say their combo fits my hopes perfectly and is alot cuter.

I'd used a crocodile inspiration because of Kremlings. Not sure which idea I prefer.
