The US and UK are completely different though. In my opinion if the PS4 doesn't get a price cut for the holiday season then the XBO could take the lead in both markets.

By take the lead you mean week to week right? Because I can't see the Xbox overtaking the PS4 in total sales in just one holiday period, the gap is just too big.


The XBOne outsold the PS4 by 600k last Novermber / December in the US and the gap is currently 700k, this is a very real possibility. However, the same can not be said about the UK. The gap is currently over 400k there and it didn't close at all during the holidays, it's actually funny how neck and neck they were.

I think Halo 5 can turn things around for MS, I really believe it, but not alone. Heavy marketing, bundles and other minor exclusives are needed to help it sustain the boost.

Halo 5 will do almost nothing for japan & europe. And a lot of Halo-fans already bought an Xbox One for the Halo MCC. So no, PS4 will still annihilate everything in it's way.

I have a buddy that is waiting for halo to buy a bone. I'm sure there are people like that.

Yes it can, but it would be temporary till Uncharted 4 comes on PS4.

As a Halo fan I disagree. It can help close the gap even more in USA, but PS4 has its own big exclusives like Uncharted 4 and God Of War IV, so it wouldn't happen.
