Forums - Nintendo - Noriyuki Iwadare Returns in the 3DS Game Langrisser

Welcome to The Realm of Video Games

After 15 years of fans waiting for another Langrisser game it is finally returning to the 3DS.  Of course fans of the franchise that has waited so many years will be excited, but even better composer Noriyuki Iwadare will be returning with the franchise as well.  Notably Noriyuki is known for his work in Ace Attorney, Lunar, as well as many other games.

The game is suppose to be taking on a steampunk like look with some changes to the battle system.  For more information click the source below.

No idea what this series is as I have never heard it before and that trailer.... yeah.
Does anyone know what kind of games they are?

Still another RPG on the horizon can rarely be bad.

It's a series of popular (in Japan) Strategy RPGs that started on the Mega Drive.

Satoshi Urushihara (google him!) was in charge of the characters, which was imo a big selling point.

Oh, THAT artist. Now that you mention it I vaguely recall seeing the boxarts for the series over the years.

Can they get him to do the art again? The art in the trailer (although still concept art) was odd to me.

I agree!

His art looks great, the one in the trailer feels kinda generic to me.

Sounds interesting. It's too soon to be excited for this, specially when I know nothing about this franchise, but I love Strategy RPGs, so I'll keep an eye on it.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Cool! I will be interested to see more info in the future

Never heard of this until now, might give this a gander when the time comes near, definitely has some interesting looks about it though.
