I don't see how it would take more time. It's not like the translation team only starts with a language after finishing the other. those translations ar eprobably happening simultaneously since develop started.
So, just because Nintendo had 3 Japanese Directs for this game three months before its release, some of you are now assuming that the same "logic" will happen for NA, right? Just to know, when was the last time Nintendo released one of its major titles in July/August?
More on topic, it's a shame that this is NA only. Shibata, I hope your guys are working hard on the translation of this game!

Ok, I accept three of them (never heard of Fossil Fighters and Pikmin, like it or not, is a second tier IP).

Fossil Fighter certainly isn't a big title, but it has received 2 sequels, the last one just came out last month on 3DS.
If were basing it on sales and Pikmin is 2nd tier than so is Xenoblade. Both GameCube Pikmin titles sold more than Xenoblade and Pikmin 3 has sold roughly the same as Xenoblade.
