I guess for better sales, more movies should have famous actors die a couple months before release.

I am sure that helped ticket sales, but the Fast and Furious franchise has been growing with each release. Fast 6 did 780mil, up from Fast 5's 620mil, up from Fast 4's 363 mil,

The series was in decline Fast One to Fast 3 with Fast 3 only making 158 mil. The Original Made 207 mil while the 2nd movie made 236 mil

based on its growth even if Walker had not died it would have had a good chance at 1 billion because the growth in China for the franchise (the movie will more more money in China than the US for instance)

psn- tokila

add me, the more the merrier.

Around the Network

The numbers are indeed impressive, even without the money from the ever increasing China market it would still be at 1b. With 1.35 and increasing I'd say it will be at 1.4 after this week and will reach 1.45b total amount. And to be thinking that it won't even be the highest movie of the year with Age of Ultron breaking all FF7 records and Star Wars in december.

I wouldn't be surprised if FF7 grosses more than the new Star Wars.
