Don't get me wrong I think it was a great idea to make Fable Legends free to play for everyone, I just think it could have been better.

What should the next Fable be like?

Imagine The Witcher 3 with a good sense of british humor, 4-player co-op, fishing, spells, creepyness with more customization! That is what the next Fable should be like! Have you seen the enemies in the Witcher 3? completely badass.

I would love to see. In fact before fable legends announcement I was thinking with next Gen power something like skyrim world would be possible. But given the condition of lionhead studios its an impossible dream.

Yes, ofc it should. But, i dont think Lionhead can pull it off when they struggled to bring out Fable 3 wich was kind of linear. Fable 2 was more open ended but it had loading and easiness of navigation problems.
Maybe if they can bolster their team, its something that can be done.

I jumped into this thread to say exactly what you stated so I second your opinion.  No need for Fable to be like any other game but Fable, just include a larger more dynamic world.

Hmm I enjoyed Fable II and like how it was, thought the idea of Fable III was great but did not end up that well.

I just want a bigger Fable with a better open world structure. Really enjoy the mine game type of stuff. Renting houses/doing jobs was entertaining and addictive for me.

While Kingdom of Amalur had a tigher gameplay system, everything else paled in comparison to Fable's universe. There was the bright world, but none of the charisma of the later.

Although now that you mention it, a character editor in Fable would be nice.

I bought that game because I hoped it would be like Fable but really was bored so quick.  It was not addictive no charm and felt like they copied a part of Fable that was not the most interesting part of the Fable Franchise.

@wright & @gamechaserbe - I meant the vast world like kingdom of amalor. Fable is much more light hearted and amalor is serious. It's a shame we will never get something like fable 1 & 2.
