At first I was super excited about Battlefront 3, but I am not anymore. Knowing that it's being made by the same developers of the Battlefield franchise made me skeptical.

Good news, the originals were 3rd person so when DICE announced several months ago that Battlefront would be 1st person I was severely dissapointed. Guess they recieved alot of negative feedback about it being 1st person so they decided to add a 3rd person mode and make it the default. Nice to see that the fans of the originals have had at least some impact on the course of this game's development. Hopefully they'll also have the other things that made the original games great, Hero characters, space battles, bot matches, etc. |
It's nice to have a game that gives both options and yeah it's been quite a long time since we last had a game that gave us those options (game years feel much longer looking back).
I really hope they allow us to make up our own matches with bots like the last two, I really liked that aspect of BF2 with me and a friend setting up a few LAn matches with out own custom map playlist and duking it out against bots for hours and it still felt like a proper battle, I just hope they don't do away with bots completely because there's not many shooting games that have online/offline focus that also make decent bots, people hated on Titanfall for doing squad based combat with bots but I quite liked it, especially when said bots talked about my actions or warned of an enemy pilot nearby.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
So is this going to have a SP campaign? If the default is 3rd person I am definitely very interested. It's been so long since playing a star wars game that wasn't Lego. But it needs to have a SP campaign.

That's very good news. I cannot wait for this game to come out!

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Indeed. Fanbases are important as they can assist in more ways than one to make a game better, such as in the case of Sonic Generations.
