So many people where pissed by how poor GTA 4 ran, thankfully however I can confirm GTA 5 runs very well on PC. Now I run a low end card, an r7 240. Nothing special. I'm able to push the settings to 1600x900, and everything on medium except for grass and texture's (both on high). I can get a good 30 FPS, with occasional dipping into the high 20s, but its still very good. AA is off, as well as all the extra's. However I don't really find them usefull, and on a low end GPU you have to make sacrifices. The GPU is paired with an AMD A-10 7800 clocked at 3.5 GHz (Quad Core). However, you must I repeat you MUST download AMD catalyst 15.4, otherwise GTA 5 will run like dog s***, have shutter all around, and dips to 10 FPS (for me at least). Thankfully however the driver solves your problems. Anyway GTA 5 runs very well, in fact better than GTA 4. It really shows rockstar has gone a long way optimizing their games for PC.
