I decided to stream my first play session of minecaft.  I died in the tutorial and lost all my items..  I think some of them were required.  No idea what I'm doing, could someone please save me? lol...

I didn't know that was a thing I could do, lol.  But, I died again on the tutorial.. this isn't going so well... so, i quit

I played Minecraft frequently up till Minecraft version 1.2X (when they started adding enchantments and such), which is when I gave up. So anything you need to know before that, I can help you really well.

Never heard of a tutorial, but you need advice, I'd gladly help. :)

Isn't there one in the console versions (I've seen one on a PS4)

There is definitely a tutorial on the PS3 and PS4 version..... Either way Minecraft I very easy and simple part of why I find it so boring, its depth is non-existent
