If Freedom war 2 don't have a physical release then it would mean they are not happy with Freedom war physical sales.

Good grief. You're expecting Freedom Wars 2 to happen? And not only that, to happen on Vita? And not only that, to come to the west?
Blimey days.
| thephenomenon said: Why not |
Various reasons;
1. the director leaves the studio.
2. less demands for 2nd installment. The petition so far only gets almost 400 signs.
3. not much sales in the west.
4. Westerners and Europeans aren't buying Vita anymore.
EDIT: added link for the petittion. Feel free to sign it.

1-The director leaves the studios don't mean the IP will stop.
2-They never said they don't want to make a new one so why people would sign a petition
3-Why people think west is more important then Japan sales the game sold more then half a million when you know only 4 games sold over 1 million and all of them are established IP the game didn't do bad
4-Give Westerners and Europeans what they want and they will buy it

Have you researched this subject at all before you started posting?
2. A sequel to Freedom Wars "depends on fan demand" according the the same producer who later left (so clearly Sony were unwilling to greenlight a sequel and he had to go and find work elsewhere).
3. This has no relevance to your argument that the game will receive a release in the west. Japan =/= the west. Two completely different markets for Vita.
And that 500k figure is classic VGC overtracking Japanese games in the west.
And just FYI, fan feedback for Freedom Wars was pretty negative in Japan, which is another mark against ever getting a sequel.

VGC has US sales at 110,000 and EU sales at 80,000.
The 500k figure is global. For a game in development for 3 and a half years, with the budget it had I think Sony were backing this to be a multi million new IP, but green lit it before they realised the Vita was going to struggle so badly.

Yes, I know. That doesn't contradict what I said :p
The 500k figure is a combination of probably-spot-on Japanese sales and western sales which are classic VGC overtracking Japanese games in the west.
