I bet you anything there will be a $50 cut this holiday, and while that's still $70 more than what you found, you'll get the sleeker black model with more memory and 3D World n Nintendo Land.

You ll probably be let down by Super Mario 3D world, and Smash Bros (I was).  Mario Kart 8 is awesome though.

Zelda U & SMT x FE arnt out yet.  You should def. get Bayonetta 1&2 if you buy a Wii U, same with Donkey Kong.

 

I feel like the gameing libary is kinda small on the Wii U though, means you might have to go long periods of time without a game that intrests you.

Well, he will if he expected anything more than a 2D Mario in 3D plane or a Smash without any single player mode interesting. Hopefully he sees enough vids to understand what is he going to buy.

I hope no one buys Smash Bros for single player! That said, event matches, Crazy Order, challenges, and training against level 9 computers are satisfactory single player options before you face people online or offline.

Buy a Wii U it's great, don't buy a Wii U it sucks :( :P

With those titles in mind you would most likely not regret buying a Wii U.
Wii U is a great console IMO. The 3rd Party situation is ridicoulos but the games for the system is pretty solid.
There are however some interesting third party releases coming later this year.

As for NX you don't need to worry much about that. It's most likely a handheld.
The Wii U still have a few years left

Definitely get it.

I would HIGHLY recommend The Wonderful 101 if you get it though.
It is one of the best most under rated games of this gen. Trust me, you won't regret the purchase.

Personally, I think the best Wii U game goes to Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 2 or The Wonderful 101.

How is price an issue at $179? Why would you wait for the next console if price is an issue? You like all the games so the question really answers itself.
