Forums - Gaming - Most friendly game (non console) community you've encountered

Most communities of anime-styled games are friendly from what I experienced.

Around the Network

For me, it was defently the Trackmania community. Never even seen anyone cursing but about their own failures.

On a different level, I met a really superb multinational german-speaking clan (we hail from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Nederlands, France, Belgium, Poland, Denmark and Sweden, so very multicultural) on World of Tanks and I've been there ever since. The WoT communty as a whole is not overly friendly, but I couldn't find a more friendly clan if I tried.

The Rocket League community. So many nice people.

A community can consist of only one person?

Not to be rude or anything but you aren't exactly a nice guy!

"I've Underestimated the Horse Power from Mario Kart 8, I'll Never Doubt the WiiU's Engine Again"

I suppose those from Paradox Interactive, specifically the Europa Universalis/Crusader Kings sub forums.

The only trouble that ever arises is when some patriot thinks his country is underpowered. Also, people from the Balkans occasionally get into political debates about whichever respective fictional history they've adopted for modern day political reasons, and those threads get shut down fast.

Still everyone is generally friendly, there's almost no profanity, everyone loves the games, helps one another, post AARs, and love discussing history/game features. I like it there :)

Which is why they don't let me in anymore :(

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I agree with the Paradox community. For the most part it's a very friendly community. Lots of good discussion about the games and a lot of people willing to help you out which is great considering that some Paradox games are rather difficult to get into. My main game is Victoria and that game has a ton of issues regarding stability but I was pretty much always able to find solutions to all my problems.

Yeah Victoria was pretty fun. My mains are EU/CK, also enjoyed Hearts of Iron III though that had quite a steep learning curve.

I believe they said their next project after Hearts of Iron IV will be a Victoria sequel.

Fire Emblem is the best for me. I can always count for someone to have the same waifu with me in there. Oh, and the Ys fanbase is cool as well!

I would love a Victoria 3 and considering their recent projects I have pretty high hopes for the sequel.
