Forums - Nintendo - Should I go digital on Wii U?

So... should I?

In your case, I think it would be better to get your games digitally. If you can get over the main issue of the Wii U barely having any storage space, I say go digital.

I have the same problem and i buy my games digitally, so yeah, I recommend it.

I am going to say a honest opinion you and others wont like but in my opinion you should quite nintendo and get an xbox one and ps3 who are produced in brazil, therefor they have more and cheaper games avaible there, as the consoles themselfs are cheaper. They made these laws for a reason so youre buying brazilian products and are helping the economy.

Now there are the Brazil price issue.
I pre-ordered both zelda and XCX at zillion games store. 180R$ each.

Oh, I came across that store just yesterday, is it any good? I was wondering if it's worth it to pre-order Splatoon there.

Its a reliable store, Years and years on market.

If you think the price is fair, pre-order it.

I understand what you mean, but I'm the type of guy who will go through hell if it means I get to play the games I like, Xbox/PS are great consoles, but their games just don't appeal to me, but I plan on picking up a PC down the road though, Steam sales are really worth it =P

IMO you would be batshit crazy too. Not only would you have to cope with the Wii U's last-gen storage sizes (Or pay to fix their mistake), but if your Wii U breaks you are out of a system.

Nothing is stored in servers to remember your data in case it breaks.

Curious did you deride the X360 that had 4GB of internal storage?

Edit: I wanted to be sure before I told you you were wrong about "Nothing is stored in servers to remember your data in case it breaks."

Can I register the same Nintendo Network ID on more than one Nintendo 3DS system?

No, this is not possible. Your Nintendo Network ID is tied to your software and/or additional content you have purchased and downloaded. As the rights of usage for software you have purchased apply only to a single Nintendo 3DS family system, you can only register your Nintendo Network ID on one system.

If I have registered a Nintendo Network ID on my Nintendo 3DS, can I transfer it to a new system?

If you have registered a Nintendo Network ID on a Nintendo 3DS family system, you can transfer this to a new system along with the usage rights to data saved on your SD card, Nintendo DSiWare, your Nintendo eShop user history and balance, any save data from software pre-installed on the system, and Nintendo DS software settings.

However, please note the following restrictions:

  • Content cannot be transferred from a New Nintendo 3DS XL system to a Nintendo 2DS, Nintendo 3DS, or Nintendo 3DS XL. Once the NNID is associated to a New Nintendo 3DS XL, it can only be transferred to another New Nintendo 3DS XL.
  • If the target system already has a Nintendo Network ID registered on it, you will be unable perform a system transfer.

In your case I'd say yes.

Need something off Play-Asia? http://www.play-asia.com/

In your case, absolutely. Just make sure to get an external hard drive if you think you'll be buying a lot of games.

Hm... you cant import them easily?

If not then yeah probably go the cheaper option with digital downloads if you a desperate to play them on launch.
Still, physical copies go on sale while digital versions dont really.

Again, you cant import them?

Defensive much?  Yeah the 4GB 360 was retarded, but not as retarded as someone buying one and then attempting to go "All Digital."
