Forums - Nintendo - Was SSBB the first time you played a brawl game?

If so I highly recommend you pick up melee for the gamecube.  It's a great game in its on right.

Yes that is what I meant, and you should definatley pick up melee for your Wii IMO.

The only reason I'll ever touch Melee again is when I miss Dr. Mario and his sweet sweet prescription of KOs. But Brawl got my favorite character and my favorite stage from Melee, so I'm set for life.

Brawl does not have All Star Mode, which was one of my favoritee parts of melee.

Agree, though that Brawl is so much improved.

Other thing I'll miss from Melee is the Poke Floats Stage; it should have been in brawl.

Brawl DOES have All Star Mode! You need to unlock every single character.

You can even play it co-op this time. I beat it on co-op with my friend. I was Ganondorf and he was Bowser. We rocked it lords of evil style.

Yeah Poke Floats was the shit. At least we have Rainbow Cruise, Big Blue, and some awesome new stages that are constantly scrolling and/or shifting.

That is good to know.  I had not heard this confirmed anywhere; thanks for posting the info.
