Thats absolutely right. The people that decide to abandon Sony and go to Microsoft for GTAIV are also deciding NOT to NEED the old PS2 exclusives (FF, MGS, GT) and therefore they will try MS exclusives. It also helps set MS up for their classic, third time lucky move! If you play no Sony exclusives for 5 years but do play MS ones, which console are you going to lean too next gen?
The difference is, Sony won't have the money (MS) or innovation (Nin) to buy back their 'loyal' fans......
