Sony and Spotify have now officially launched the Spotify App for the PS4 and PS3. The app is included within Sony’s new music service ‘Playstation Music’ doesn’t require a PS Plus membership and comes in two versions – The Free Spotify account or the Spotify Premium version, which costs $9.99 per month.
The service allows for players to stream music while playing playing games on either the PS3 or PS4.
Sony’s new music service replaces the ‘Music Unlimited’ service and users who previously subscribed to Music Unlimited get a 60-day trial. The Spotify app allows users to either create a new Spotify account or connect their existing one.
