Portugal - Nice mild weather, good food (especially sweets), beatiful landscapes and historical buildings, lively nightlife and good alcohol. Economy might be shit but overall we have it good.

oh and Cristiano Ronaldo for those who care, I'm more proud of Figo.

The Netherlands, idiots living 2-5 meters below the average sea level. Oh and because of that we're pretty good at managing water though. At least we do one thing better than the Germans (an eternal rivalry).

pff we dont need to, we have real land...

You know, I've never liked football (playing it is good, but watching it is ugh), but for some reason, I enjoyed watching football matches when he was playing them.

Belgium, home of Beer, chocolate, waffles and difficult politics

Yes but on our so called real land is nothing to be proud of and it isn't that special either. All special things bout our country happen below sea level, cities like Delft, Leiden, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and a part of Uttecht all lay below sea level. Our only notable piece of nature are the dunes and the Waddensea. Since our mainport is the Harbour of Rotterdam followed by Schiphol and Westland we kind a have to live below sealevel.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Home of the European Union too, although I don't know if that is something to be very proud of these days. Your beer and waffles are great, your chocolate bloody expensive. Your languages kind a odd since half of your country doesn't speak language A (Vlaams), but everyone is expected to know French.

I think most Belgians are proud Brussels is the home of the EU. I am :P

Well, I'm originally from the UK, but I must say, I very much dislike the place (would use stronger language, but wouldn't want to offend). I don't think I'll ever spend more than 2 weeks at a time there ever again (for friends and family) for as long as I can help it.

I currently live in Hong Kong, absolutely amazing city.

Pros: cost of living, taxes, culture, weather, women, infrastructure, beaches, mountains (from my main office I can see a mountain range on one side, and the ocean on the other), night life, food options, extremely low crime rates, close proximity to many other fantastic locations.

Negatives: humidity, property prices, lack of Mexican food, air conditioning units dripping on your head in the streets.

I have plans on moving to NYC by the end of this year, and ultimately I wish to settle in New Hampshire.

likewise, he was a good leader in the field, played with his head. a good captain. now without him it's a pain to watch Portugal play

And roller hockey. Portugal is the king of that sport. A sport that really should deserve more attention worldwide.
