It is anti-gay. They are hiding and using the bible as a crutch to be prejudiced, when the bible says tells people to love their neighbor and even their enemy. Then again...the bible tends to contradict itself, so one book might have different material than another pertaining to the same thing.

the bible? realy? that makes no sense at all... male homosexuality is an illness, and jesus teached that you shouldnt pick on ill people.

There are 1500 species in the animal kingdom which display homosexuality. The bible is wrong. Sorry...because science. Jesus preached that you should love people that you don't like. Essentially, you should love even those who are damned, and its better to love and tolerate than to be sinful because you cannot tolerate their existence. 

"You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR and hate your enemy.' 44"But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.…"

I cannot stand when people misinterpret their own reading material.

See...now you're grasping. I used to be Christian and heres the funny thing about faith. It is belief without proof. The world has since moved on and science has helped us understand a lot that we need to know.

If something is more common than you think in nature then is not a sickness. That is a dumbed down 2000 year old mentality and we are beyond it at this point.

Some don't have the luxury of going under the radar. With some it sticks out like a sore thumb, but to the religious its some kind of ailment that they cannot explain (nor should they try because they aren't qualified to).

Yeah but in todays society one can't just go " You look gay/sound  gay", it could easily be rebuted by the accused by telling the accuser that he has no buisness making accusations such as these.

That is true, but for how long can someone stay underground because of the religious right? They don't even follow their bible properly. Even if they don't like homosexuals Jesus said even to love their enemy as well as their neighbor.

ehm science says that homosexuality is an illnes, christianity says its a sin. 

and  to be clear, you cant cure it, because its all done way before you are born. sure you could find a way to detect and cure it before birth, but that would be way to risky for such an illness.

 

the LGTB community should swallow its pride and aknowledge that homosexuality is an illness, that would make it easyer for all.

i dont think that the christian extremist could find enough allies if it would be clear that they want to discriminise sick people.
