Delayed posting as long as possible...

Man some rounds I would have expected much later had the games been organized differently. I feel odd that my expectations differ so much from what I would want to win.

So many evil matchups in in the first round!

Indeed, makes the potentiall for the final resutls to be very swingy depending on how the votes go. While mine was set up more for the long stading feelings for many of the games. Here there are chances for upsets and some could be very early.

Thanks for catching that,. I'm going to treat this as Final Fantasy X being the winner, unless I hear differently from Pixel.

I've copied all the predictions into a separate Word document, so no more changes will be allowed.

We have a group of 12 people, which I think is a great size. All of you are welcome to vote in the tournament, starting tomorrow, along with the rest of the community. You need not vote for the games you picked to win.

Last but not least: Miguel_Zorro, last year's winner, has graciously agreed to donate his winnings to this year's pot. So I've decided to add a few more prizes. The first place winner will still get a $20 Steam/GOG game. But this year, the second place winner will get a $10 game. The third and four place winners will each get a $5 game.

Here are the results for the first round, top half. A lot of close calls, and a few upsets.

fun fact had I voted with my bracket instead of my personal preferecne OoT would have beaten KH2 with 90% of the vote.

The last of Us getting out in the first round hurts everyone but cone. Though I had it losing the next round.

Uncharted 2 losing surprised me the most. Followed by MGS3 and Tetris.
