Seems like the ps4 will still sell not too bad in china. Even if they have a horrible line-up.

Somehow Sony did it! Good for them because region locking is ridiculous.



Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

I'm glad that the PS4 is not region locked in China. All Sony needs to worry about is getting more games approved for release. I am still skeptical that the PS4 will do much in China, but it will do better than the XB1, that's for sure.

Here's hoping sales reflect the importance of a semi region free console.

Yeah locking imports would have killed them.  At the same time I'm shocked they manage to get that deal.

that is huge.

For instance. GTA5 will never be sold in China. It just wont. But if I lived in China and bought GTA5 through grey markets I could put it in my legit PS4 and play it, and not only play it but update it will all patches. Chinese gamers can play GTA5 Heist right now with us. Cant do that on XB1 in china.
