My favorite game of all time! I'm dying for a sequel! At first I hated the demo but decided to give the game a shot. Just pure fun! The only thing I dislike is the lack of variety with weapons and armor. Everything else is perfect.

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

End game and new game plus pretty much open up convenient fast travel, but I can understand how some people might be put off before then

It's important to have that early game though otherwise people will get tired of walking to a quest area and back to turn it in which can take a long time. It's just not a smart design choice it you wanted people to actually get far into your game or to complete it.

It's not quite end game when you get the ability to buy ferrystones. The only time you really need to walk a lot is when you're escorting someone but those missions are optional.

I really liked it. Reminded me of a souls game but easier. Made a few lvl 200 characters. Being able to climb gigantic creatures instead of just attacking ankles or the groin area like a chihuahua was refreshing. I liked the ending of the game and the expansion. I hope I see more western style jrpg's like it and a sequel to it.

But when you can buy em they are expensive and just not worth it. Still a bad fast travel design choice and every mission felt like I had to walk for over 15 minutes just to do a quest and turn it in. Will probably come back to finish the game sometime later but it's still one of the only games I have never finished and it's all thanks to the horrible fast travel system.

I like how the story twists generic fantasy tropes into an unholy awesome mess. And the game has superb atmosphere as well. Those great monster fights showed what a next gen Monster Hunter couldve been.

The game had a charm to it , I even grew to like the incessant banter by companion characters. Its sad that sequel is online only :(

I love this game. I replay it over and over a lot. Use both genders. My only grip is the character creator. It has limited body shapes.
