The most tragic thing is that is the sequence has made really miss the cinematic quality of the menu driven games, the camera highlighting characters and enemies they attack, the weapons... :(

If it was turn based combat portions would probably look as good as Agni's philosophy

what are u saying, have u watch the video, (spoiler ) ramuh did grab Noctis into his hand cinematicly and the camera change focus  to the summons, maybe the quality is bad becuase it just the demo or depending on where do you stand. It still have the cinematic sequence.

I didn't explain my point too well. That moment was cinematic because the player had no control and the camera was free. Even just the segements where it stares at Ramuh, it showcases the character design in a way that real time action can't quite replicated. I miss that across the whole spectrum of battle, looking at your team, the close ups, really appreciating all of the skills, magic, swords etc. It also felt like during that segment more could afford to be rendered too, i might be wrong though.

In any case it wasn't really meant as a complaint, just acknowledging one of the trade of having a more action orientated games.
