Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata shares his thoughts on the impact PS4 has made on the industry. He speaking with OPM UK.

“As a developer I did not actually feel that much of a pull from the PS3 to want to develop games for it, but I certainly feel that from the PS4. It feels like a very big evolution in the game design, similar to the shift from 2D to 3D was.

I really feel that this challenge to create something that could not be done on any platform other than PS4 can only happen with the latest cutting edge consoles of the current generation.”

his team and he have a lot of fun in the development of ps4. more games for the ps4-console maybe in the future. what do you think ? i hope, the next big dragon quest-rpg coming for ps4 too.

And even better, Nomura started KHIII full production after finishing up FFXV's core work and leaving Tabata as an excellent stand-in.

Now we just need to buy DQ Heroes and hope those DQXI rumours are true. Oh, and FFXIV Heavensward is looking awesome. Collector's Edition pre-orders go up tomorrow! 

Who doesn't love the PS4?

It looks like the PS4 might get a lot of SE love this gen.  FFXV, KH3, FF Type 1, Maybe FF16 but I doubt it.  They better make KH4 on the PS4 too, after waiting so long for the third entry I want at least 2 entries this gen.
