In older times, Link. I loved that inept bastard and I still do today, but he is far and away NOT my favorite character.

At times, I seriously wonder if 50% of this forum has ever played anything not made by Nintendo and if they have, why they still cling so furiously to one stupid company while there are a dozen out there making just as brillilant games, if not better.

It's not trolling when you ask a legitimate question as to why everything in VGC leans toward Nintendo. There are plenty of great games and characters out there. Why does everything end up centering on Nintendo? Sure, they have great characters. Sure, they have great games. That doesn't explain why everyone in this thread mentioned a Nintendo character. It's simplistic, generic, and rather pathetic.
