Spanish developer Rainy Night Creations has confirmed that it is planning to bring its upcoming 3D platformer, FreezeME, to Wii U. Designed to resemble platformers from the Nintendo 64 era. In the game you can take pictures and temporarily freeze enemies and objects.

Didn`t someone do this thread earlier? At least someone else thought the same thing as me : P

This is more like 3D Land's style minus all the Nintendo motifs than Wind Waker which is much more dedicated to a specific style of animation art, with a heavy emphasis on things having a painted or drawn feel.

Was thinking the exact same thing, see, we aren't polar opposites after all.

I think it's trying to hard to be Mario 64, personally.
That first screenshot reeks of unoriginality and "creative miscourse".
Rock structure in the center may as well be ripped straight out of the first area from m64.

This game needs to be on platforms already. It looks so goood... : )
