I thought Dragonball GT was a great series. The series offered adventure episodes plus great action. Im not sure why you guys think its one of the worst.

Well, I can talk about me, this is why:

1. Everyone in the series seemed weaker in dbgt.

2. Goku turned in to a kid.

3. Important carismatic charactes where just pulled off, like Gohan and Goten, when they where some of my favorite characters in DBZ.

4. It looked older and worst animated than DBZ.

5. Bad guys werent as cool as some of the DBZ guys.

That why I think it was a letdown, but I liked the way they ended it, I mean, it kinda showed u the legacy that DBZ gave to the anime world and how important it was for many of us in our life, Im not exagerating, this made me like anime and it marked my generation.

So you vented your frustration in a hatredfilled, insulting and in this thread totally misplaced posting ? Learn some self-control man.

Ofcourse 95-99% of the animes aren't that deep, but it's the same with books (even chinese ones) , movies, songs, ... take whatever you want.

Thanks for your input. Like I said earlier, I don't hate anime, I hate the people who watch it religiously and try to tell me how brilliant it is. It's not. Most of anime is pure shit. Some of it is entertaining, but it's not deep or complex like some people seem to believe it is.

I won't apologize for going on an anime rant in a thread entitled "worst anime you ever watched". Lighten up a bit.

I dont think they suck at storytelling (not only for anime, FF for example...)

Oh lord... Final Fantasy games are some of the worst examples of storytelling you can find in video games. Especially the most popular ones. Convoluted, confusing, shallow, most of those games run the entire gamut of why the general public doesn't like JPRGs.

Actually, I think you should.

Not for your opinion on anime, but to go as far as bashing the whole Japanese literature by calling "Japanese sucks at storyline" is going way too far.

You can do the honourable thing and retract that statement and issue an apology. As a mod, I think it's the sensible act.

Ok so I get u like games like Dora the explorer, simple and easy to get, I mean, a storyline is good when u can get everyone confused and make sense at the same time, having a great ammount of facts and make them go together in a coherent way.

Now, I fu think storytelling is bad when a big ammount of monkeys cant get it, then I guess ur wrong, u know u need a brain to understand some stories, dont blame the game or the story, blame the ones that cant understand it even if its clear.
