Forums - Gaming - XBOX ONE vs PLAYSTATION 4 Exclusives showdown!

So based on that metacritic list Xbox One is slightly better.

Although I thought Sunset Overdrive was meh and Forza 5 is a racing sim game so meh by default.
So IMO PS4 wins because of Infamous Second Son

Also, WTF aren't Knack and Killzone SF listed as PS4 exclusives?

Or The Order.

I'm guessing there's some sort of score cut off and that the three mentioned True Exclusives all scored too low on Meta to be included in the list, not that this should matter unless the point of this comparison is simply to show which platform has more pretend or real exclusives.

I think these lists should always contain multiplats as well because I heard some games are 1080p exclusively on one platform, meaning a unique experience you won't get on the other.

He's only listing games with 75+ meta.

So leave out all the games that were massively underrated by biased critics? Sounds so totally incredibly fair.... not.

Having metacritic scores at all doesn't make sense, its a pretty terrible scale of judging a game's worth.

It is. Especially with those massively overinflated indie scores. IMO they should probably be capped at like 7/10 or something.

I don't play indies so I don't know. But yeah they definitely don't look as good as they are rated. Except for Ori, it looks good and better than many AAA platformers like NSMB U.

I think even Ori is overrated. Meta score of 89, while Far Cry 4 only got 85. I haven't played either, but Far Cry 4 easily looks way better, I mean I'd actually play Far Cry 4 if I found it cheap, can't say the same about the other one...

I really do like indies and they normally get priced less than AAA but I agree.  Why is Journey rated higher than 99% of PS3 games?  Ratchet and Clank ACiT is way better than Journey and it only has an 85!

We already have threads like these. And nice way to pull out PS4 exclusives and putting games like D4 (PC version already teased) in the "real exclusives list".

I was unaware of a PC version of D4, Metacritic doesn't have it in it's detabase so far.

But I will fix that.

I think you are right, Ryse was exclusive for a time as well, as long as its not on another system it is exclusive, even if this is only for a time.

I only have a PS4, honestly, I don't think this makes much of a difference given how many there are.

#DriveClub ?

Edit: Nevermind

"I am only listing games which have a "Good" Metacritic rating (according to metacritic that's 75+)"

#IDARB is timed.

Also, I don't really agree with the simple real/pretend exclusive breakup. It makes it look like all of the games in the pretend list are equally exclusive, which isn't the case. It makes Starwhal look like it's the same as Halo: MCC or LBP3 as far as exclusivity goes.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Resogun in the pretend seems a little unfair, it's not like it's on PC like the rest.

Hmm, pie.
