My interest in the Witness is at an all time low after playing The Talos Principle.
I didn't notice any others worth mentioning besides No Man's Sky, which also seems to be trying hard to be uninteresting.

A game doesn't have to be necessarily made by Sony in order to be associated with Sony. There is this thing called marketing. As for your last paragraph, it sounds like you're basically a picky eater that refuses to step outside from his comfort zone, in which that zone has an extremely small area. |
Or Sony doesn't make the genres I like. ;)
Metroidvania, (Metroid) platformer (Mario, DK, Yoshi), Kart racer (Mario Kart), strategy (Fire Emblem, Total War, Pikmin), action-adventure (Zelda, Batman), rpg (Pokémon, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Paper Mario)

Considering that you have a very warped description for what a platformer game is from what I've seen from your posts, yeah....

If by very warped you mean jumping from obstacle to obstacle as its main focus then yes.

Ah, so you're basically very picky. Glad that we have cleared that up. I suggest that you broaden your horizons then ;)
Indie games are not fillers. They never sold systems, but they justify the purchase of the system the consumer might have bought for a few other titles.
A game can be enjoyed for what it is and not as something you personally had the moderate pleasure of playing while waiting for another, no matter how big either game is.
So calling a game "filler" even in this context is really dismissive of the quality of those games and the system they're on.

Not picky, that's what platforming is about.
There's lot's of platforming in Metroid (much more than R & C) but no one calls it a platformer. Why? Because exploration is its main focus. Games like that are called Metroidvania, not platformers.
R & C is a cartoony third person shooter with platforming elements. Good genre as well, looking forward to Splatoon.

Whatever, Samus. It looks like you're the only person who keeps thinking that R&C is not a platformer. It's a platformer that combines 3rd person shooter and exploration elements.
That said, the way how you quickly dismiss several games as mere filler is the very definition of picky. You said you never heard of most of the games listed and then, label them as filler before you even took a look.

You call it picky, I call it high standards.
Trust me, I'm not the only one that doesn't think R & C is not a platformer. I'm not even going to comment on the exploration part.

I call it being intellectually dishonest. Nothing from your comments screamed holding "high standards". Just a bunch of spin in order for your argument to conveniently work. So no, I don't trust you.
