Nope it won't. There hasn't been a single negative preview, impression or concern levied against the game so far. And their was even a beta for it with nothing but gleaming positive impressions. I would be surprised if this game doesn't score above 90 on metacritic. Though I'm OK if it scores 75... doesn't matter to me, already paid for in full.

Who cares? People who depend on others to make their purchasing decisions, deserve what they get.
I think it will review in the 80s. I am liking the new gen trend of games generally getting lower review scores than the exact same game would have in Gen 7. So in that respect, unless the game is considerably better than the Souls games I think it will review at 85 or less. But if the core of the game is better than the Souls games, and if the Chalice Dungeons add a new an interesting element then I can see it getting high 80s. I doubt it will crack the 90s. The Souls games seem to not be able to break that metacritic barrier.
Will we still call it the Souls series, now that From and Sony have thrown a spanner in the works and not called the game Blood Souls?
