The Last Hope had good gameplay? Combat was okay, nothing special. Poor dungeon and world design made exploration a chore. I guess people are so desperate for RPGs that they'll forgego quality just so they can play something. Go look at my PSX and PS2 collection, you can pick almost any RPG there and it'll be a better experience than not just The Last Hope but anything past gen consoles. Or go check out my DS and PSP collections, those have some good RPGs on them.

The storyline also doesn't suck for Star Ocean 1 and 2. Star Ocean 2 has one of the best storylines in any video game ever. I'm not a pussy so I don't cry over a video game, but Star Ocean 2 is probably the closest for that to happening.
